In 2021, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) launched a workshop series on the gender dimension in research . The workshop series aims to support the implementation of gender equality in research and innovation in Europe and to inspire researchers and research managers to address gender issues in their projects.

Next workshops

The next workshop in the series will take place on 10 December 2024 – as always in online format, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. CET.

The workshop "Equality under the weather? - Sex and Gender in Research on Climate (change)" gives an overview of gender aspects in Horizon Europe, shows good practices of taking gender aspects into account in projects on climate (change), and provides useful information for proposal-writing for projects on climate in Horizon Europe. The workshop is organized in close cooperation with the National Contact Point Climate, Energy and Mobility.

Registration will be possible soon.

The target group for this workshop are scientists in the research area of climate, but also persons with a multiplier role, like those advising scientists on proposal writing. No participation fee is charged.

Through our newsletter (in German) and this website, we will keep you posted on the latest news on this and other issues.
