On 11 December 2024, an official agreement concluded which will allow CNPq-funded researchers in Brazil to apply for visits lasting six to twelve months to research teams of ERC grantees in Europe.
On 11 December 2024, the European Commission and the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) concluded an official agreement which will allow CNPq-funded researchers in Brazil to apply for visits lasting six to twelve months to research teams of ERC grantees in Europe. These research visits, in particular funding modalities, will follow the CNPq's guidelines for postdoctoral scholarships. The new agreement complements an existing one with the Brazilian National Council of State Funding Agencies (CONFAP).
