The NCP ERC – Our Services

Established by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the National Contact Point European Research Council (NCP ERC) supports you to prepare, apply for and conduct ERC projects confidentially and free of charge.

Evaluation

ERC application evaluation takes place in several stages. Applications from the various research domains are assigned to and evaluated by specialist panels consisting of experts in the applicable domain.

ERC Proposal Submission

Proposals for ERC funding may be submitted annually for all ERC grants in accordance with proposal calls.

ERC Portraits

In this section, we present successful researchers, EU officers as well as ERCEA and NCP ERC staff.

Advanced Grants

The European Research Council (ERC) Advanced Grants funding line is aimed at established leading scientists with an outstanding scientific track record.

Starting Grants

ERC Starting Grants are aimed at researchers two to seven years after completing their doctorate.

Proof of Concept

The ERC Proof of Concept Grants are aimed at researchers who already received an ERC Grant in the Starting, Consolidator, Advanced or Synergy Grant funding lines.
