The Interview is a crucial part of the ERC evaluation procedure. The National Contact Point ERC (NCP ERC) organises interview trainings for Consolidator Grant Interview candidates. The NCP ERC will provide trainings for applicants of all three domains (PE, LS und SH).
The National Contact Point for ERC supports ERC Consolidato Grant candidates in preparing for their interviews with online training sessions. We offer a total of twelve training dates.
Each candidate will have approximately 30 minutes to simulate their interview. A professional trainer will lead the training and provide feedback. In addition to the trainer, the mock panel will consist of colleagues from the NCP ERC as well as the participating candidates.
The training sessions are primarily intended for ERC Consolidator Grant candidates with a German host institution who have received an interview invitation and do not have the opportunity to participate in training at their institution.
A preparatory training session (Part I) will take place on September 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Unlike the interview training sessions, there is no participant limit for this event.

Registration for all training sessions is expected to open in the first half of July 2025. We will provide timely updates in our ERC newsletter as well as on this website.
